About this file
This site specification document outlines requirements for a single-user vault toilet replacement project at Clara Lake Campground within Superior National Forest. The project involves removing an existing vault toilet and installing a prefabricated concrete vault toilet building that meets ADA accessibility standards. The new building should have a left-facing layout with one deadbolt lock and one non-keyed privacy locking handle on the door. Minimal site preparation work is needed as there are few trees in the area. This project is part of a larger solicitation by the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service to replace vault toilets at multiple locations within Superior National Forest. The solicitation involves tasks such as demolition of existing toilets, installation of precast concrete buildings, excavation, backfilling, and other site work as specified.
