USDA FOREST SERVICE

White Mountain National Forest Scope of Work for Repair Services Security Gate Replacement General The White Mountain National Forest is requesting bids for the repair or in-kind replacement of the front security gate at the White Mountain National Forest Headquarters, located in Campton New Hampshire.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

1. Repair of existing gate or in-kind replacement as approved by Forest Service.

2. Installation and adjustment of gate to ensure proper function.

3. Removal of all components that were upgraded and all waste generated.

Contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, personnel, supervision, materials, quality control, and incidentals for the work described above. Installation must comply with state and local regulations.

Government Project Representative:

· Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) – Jared Kittle, (603) 481-6574, jared.kittle@usda.gov Start Work:

· It is estimated that work will begin around September 1, 2023, or as allowed by contracting.

Period of Performance:

· Work shall be completed by September 30, 2023. The Period of Performance includes pre-service and service activities such as: submitting work plan, ordering and delivery of materials; and performance of the work.

Government Furnished Materials:

· Existing gate for repair or template.

Staging Area:

· The Contractor shall coordinate with the CO on a staging area location(s). The Contractor shall operate all equipment and store, transport, and handle materials in a manner that will not damage the existing roads, parking lots, and landscaping.

Security and Protection:

· Security is the Contractor’s responsibility. Limit access to the construction area to persons involved in the work. Provide secure storage for materials that are stored on site. Secure completed work as required to prevent loss.
