About this file
This Statement of Need details the Pulmonary Function Department's requirements for a Vyntus One PFT PC system with an ergonomic bicycle for advanced lung function testing. The system must perform multiple pulmonary tests including spirometry, lung subdivisions, diffusion capacity, and cardiopulmonary stress testing, with specific technical requirements such as wheelchair accessibility, ultrasonic flow sensing, Global Lung Index reference value equations, and compatibility with Cardiosoft ECG.
The document specifies comprehensive delivery requirements including training for 4 participants, a Windows 10 PC with pre-formatted reports, a body plethysmograph, multiple gas cylinders, an electromagnetically braked bicycle ergometer, and additional components like breathing circuits and a laser printer. Key technical specifications include dimensions of 145 cm W × 118 cm D × 175 cm H, weight not exceeding 83 kg, operational temperature range of +10°C to +34°C, and the ability to electronically transfer patient reports. Delivery is set for 60 days after order receipt, with a 12-month warranty, and the point of contact after contract award is Mr. Paul B. Plamenco at DGMC.
