About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity issued by the USDA Agricultural Research Service. The SOW requires the vendor to provide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) variant calls on 2,496 wheat DNA samples provided by USDA-ARS across three separate projects. The genotyping-by-sequencing will utilize the USDA Wheat 5K Panel, a panel of 5,000 SNPs. Variant calls are to be returned to USDA-ARS within 8 weeks of receiving the DNA samples. The SOW is related to Solicitation Number 12805B24Q0622 for Targeted Genotyping-by-Sequencing of Wheat with USDA Wheat 5K Panel. This full and open solicitation is seeking quotes for a firm fixed price purchase order. The government intends to award the contract to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the specifications and is the most advantageous based on technical acceptance, past performance, and price.

Targeted Genotyping-by-Sequencing of Wheat with USDA Wheat 5K Panel, 2496 Samples

Statement of Work (SOW) –

The vendor will provide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) variant calls on 2496 wheat DNA samples provided by USDA-ARS in three separate sets for each of three separate projects:

1. 864 samples

2. 864 samples

3. 768 samples

The genotyping-by-sequencing will utilize a panel of 5,000 SNPs developed in cooperations with USDA-ARS, known by the vendor as the USDA Wheat 5K Panel.

Variant calls will be returned to USDA-ARS within 8 weeks from submission of the DNA samples to the vendor. Variant calls will be provided both in VCF (variant call format) and allele/matrix format.
