About this file

This is a Goods & Services Proposal and Fees attachment for an RFP issued by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia for Architectural and Laboratory Casework, Equipment, and Services. The solicitation requires firms to submit detailed pricing proposals covering products, labor services, and any additional fees applicable to the provision of architectural and laboratory casework, equipment, and related services. Respondents must complete only the pricing sections applicable to their proposed goods and services, with separate line-item pricing required for evaluation purposes; lump-sum or package pricing is not acceptable. Firms must provide product information including manufacturer/brand, published list prices, available finishes, lead times, and warranty details, along with labor rates for installation and other services if offered. The proposal template requires completion of firm information, products and discounts, services and other charges, and a detailed explanation of how the University will be charged and what cost savings the firm's proposal offers.

Pricing must be submitted based on tiered discount structures corresponding to total published list prices at four purchasing levels: $0–$50,000, $50,001–$125,000, $125,001–$250,000, and $250,001+. Firms must identify labor and service categories with standard, overtime, and weekend/holiday rates, along with any applicable minimums, travel costs, equipment charges, or geographic limitations. Turnkey project services may be offered with pricing based on the firm's defined methodology such as flat fees, unit-based pricing, or hourly rates. All fees, charges, and pricing exceptions must be explicitly identified in the attachment, as any fees not identified will not be considered part of the proposal. Cost-plus-percentage-of-cost pricing is prohibited. Firms must attach or provide published price lists and shipping rate schedules used in their pricing response, and responses must be submitted through the UVA Public Posting Portal.
