Mobile Trailers Product Description

1. GENERAL INFORMATION.

1.1. Description of Work. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, supervision, management, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, materials, transportation, shipping & delivery, Design and build, and all other items and services necessary to provide six (6) mobile trailers to Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with this product description, attached specifications, all applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, manufacturer’s specifications, commercial practices.

1.2. Delivery. Delivery will be no later than 180 days after the date of contract (ADC). If the delivery time cannot be met due to lead-times, the required lead-time shall be indicated in the quote. The contractor shall deliver trailers to:

2. REQUIREMENTS. The contractor shall provide and deliver seven (6) mobile trailers. At a minimum, the trailers must comply with the following specifications:

2.1. Physical Characteristics. GVWR: 16,000lb, 2 8,000lb 8-Lug oil bath straight axles.

ST/235/85-16” (14 ply) tires with 4 brakes. 24’ by 8’ 6” flat nose box trailer with a total length of 29’ 7 ½”. 8” continuous I-Beam frame with 3” channel cross members on 12” centers. 3” by 2” structural tube framed rear with square tube uprights on 16” centers. Square tube roof bows on 16” centers. Screw-less exterior sidewall and skins. Aluminum top and front (NO ABS OR FIBERGLASS). This is a bumper pull-style trailer.

2.2 Interior.

2.2.1. Walls:

2.2.1.1. White vinyl wall and ceiling liner upgrade. R-5 insulated walls and ceiling.

2.2.1.2. Fold up workbench 96” wide across the interior nose of the trailer.

2.2.1.3. 14” in by 14” Access doors on passenger side (one lower front and one lower rear). 1 14” by 14” camper vent.

2.2.1.4. Wall-mounted first aid and safety kit.

2.2.1.5. Stowable 24” by 48” folding table with adjustable height for the center of the trailer.

2.2.2. Upper cabinets on the driver side of trailer wall:

2.2.2.1. 180” by 18” by 18” 5 doors (cabinets will also tie into the furnace cabinet and extend to the rear as far as possible). Bottoms of cabinets will be 51 ¼” above the floor

2.2.3. Flooring:

2.2.3.1. 1/4 in Aluminum tread plate flooring with 18 in (1/4in) Aluminum baseboards and ramp.

2.2.3.2. Recessed winch compartment with a 9500lb winch. Recessed dual battery compartment with dual 12-volt deep cycle batteries with box and battery disconnect.

2.2.4. Cargo tie down points:

2.2.4.1. 22 recessed D-rings 6,000lb rated recessed swivel.

2.2.4.2. 22 ½ ft of E-Track on both sides of trailer wall at 48 in high. 20 E-Track D-rings.

2.2.4.3. 4 exterior D-rings welded to frame (2 on front bottom corners and 2 on rear bottom corners) 47,000lb minimum breaking strength.

2.3. Exterior.

2.3.1. Doors:

2.3.1.1. Rear ramp door (4,500lb rating with cable assist with greaseable hinges). 36” by 64” aluminum passenger side door with dead bolt. 36” driver side ramp door with cable assist.

2.3.2. Full height diamond plate aluminum on nose, diamond plate on fenderettes, and diamond plate along tongue. Aluminum skinned roof (NO FIBERGLASS OR ABS).

2.3.3. Trailer jacks: 4,500lb electric tongue jack and 4 scissor style stabilizer jacks (1 on each corner of trailer). 4 point Electric over hydraulic self-leveling jack system. Retractable spare tire carrier mounted within the frame below the floor.

2.3.4. Exterior ladder on trailer front above generator box. 7-way RV plug and a 2 5/16” adjustable coupler.

2.4. Electrical Requirements.

2.4.1. Seven (7) interiors duplex receptacles (3 countertop receptacles on interior front wall, 2 duplex receptacles countertop height on both interior side walls). 1 exterior GFCI duplex receptacle on passenger side. 6 dual bulb 48” LED light fixtures interior ceiling with 1 light switch. 50 Amp park power for service detachable cord. 2 exterior LED load lights on stainless bracket (12V) located under awning on passenger side. 50” LED TV with mount and HDMI cables located on center interior wall above work bench. 100-watt solar panel mounted to top exterior with 30-amp controller. 1 55-amp battery charger. 18’ electric awning with hardware located on passenger side as far forward as possible. 2 12V interior dome lights in ceiling. LED exterior marker and tail lights to DOT standards. 6500-watt propane Cummins Generator inside generator compartment (with lockable access door) mounted on trailer tongue. 50-amp transfer switch. 2 25-gallon propane tanks with regulator, hoses, valves and aluminum tread plate hinged enclosure cage, mounted on Trailer tongue.

2.5. Accessories.

2.5.1. One (1) 42,000 BTU ducted air furnace. LP/CO detector located inside the cabinet on driver side just rear on 36” side ramp. 2 low profile (12” tall) 15,000 BTU air conditioners with thermostat. 2” round vertical receiver on trailer tongue for a mast.

3. Installation Access & Security. The contractor shall comply with all installation access requirements, pass, badges, and security requirements when entering Mountain Home AFB.

After contract award, the requiring activity and contractor shall coordinate together, the required information for installation access.
