Government Points of Contact will be provided after the contract is awarded.

3. The Government is requesting Mulcher head teeth that will be used on a model C-475 FAE mulcher 300U – 250 with rotor type C/3. Teeth can be OEM or after market.

These are the minimal requirements that the Government is willing to accept in order to successfully complete these projected projects within the time and budget that has been allotted.

1. On this machine a set of teeth is 56 teeth in the field on the rotor, and 1 each of a left and right side scraper, for total of 58 teeth. A kit for the mounting system is 58 hammer head bolts, 58 lock nuts and 58 conical washers. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.

2. This product must be made of high grade steel or better. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions. The tooth must be impact and shock resistant and hardened for aggressive cutting. This is needed due to the environment in this area that has sandy soil and with high abrasion vegetation like palmettos.

3. The teeth will have embedded carbide tips. Tips can be tungsten or equivalent. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.

4. A single nut, conical washer and a hammer head bolt hold the blade in place. These items that hold the tooth to the rotor must be for this specific machine listed above and for tree mulching applications. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.
