About this file
This is a Special Notice announcing a Proposers' Day event for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) PROactive Solutions for Prolonging Resilience (PROSPR) Program, scheduled for January 24, 2025, in Dallas, Texas with hybrid attendance options. Registration deadline is January 21, 2025 at noon ET, with no same-day registration permitted. The event precedes the anticipated release of a draft Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) in December 2024 and final ISO in January 2025.
The PROSPR program aims to develop interventions to extend healthspan by 20 years by targeting age-induced health loss causes. The program has three technical areas: (1) developing an intrinsic capacity score to predict 20-year health outcomes, (2) repurposing FDA-approved interventions for healthspan extension through decentralized clinical trials, and (3) advancing second-generation interventions with preclinical evidence. The one-day event will include ARPA-H presentations, program overviews, and lightning talks limited to 4 minutes each. Attendees can submit teaming profiles describing technical competencies and desired partnerships. The event is closed to the general public and media, with in-person attendance limited by venue capacity and virtual attendance unlimited via Zoom.

PROPOSERS’ DAY
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is hosting a Proposers’
Day in support of the PROactive Solutions for Prolonging Resilience (PROSPR) Program.
ARPA-H anticipates releasing the draft PROSPR Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO), ARPA-H-SOL-25-125, in December 2024 and the final ISO in January 2025. When released, the draft and final ISO will be available at https://sam.gov/
PROPOSERS’ DAY GOALS
1. Introduce the ARPA-H PROSPR program goals and vision to the research community;
2. Clarify the logistics of an ARPA-H program as well as PROSPR-specific objectives and milestones;
3. Review the PROSPR program deliverables; and
4. Encourage and promote teaming among potential Performers
PROGRAM GOALS
The PROSPR program aims to develop interventions that extend healthspan by 20 years by targeting the underlying causes of age-induced health loss and thereby preventing the onset of multiple age-related diseases simultaneously. To facilitate the study and testing of healthspan interventions, PROSPR will first reduce the time and cost investments that currently prevent a thriving healthspan therapeutics industry from developing. By directly demonstrating that human age-induced health outcomes can be predicted by biochemical and physiological measures in a single composite mailto:PROSPR@arpa-h.gov intrinsic capacity (IC) score, PROSPR will remove the need for 20-year clinical efficacy trials. By focusing second generation interventions on those that target early health loss, PROSPR aims to preserve health in aging individuals before chronic diseases can develop. This will transform geriatric medicine into a personalized, comprehensive, preventive care model.
TECHNICAL APPROACH
PROSPR aims to provide all Americans 20 additional years of good health as they age by developing new therapies and creating the data to allow short-duration clinical trial capability that predicts long-term health outcomes. As such, ARPA-H is interested in innovative solutions that address all three Technical Areas (TAs) introduced below.
1. PROSPR intrinsic capacity score (TA1): Develop an intrinsic capacity score comprised of human physiological and biochemical components, that predicts 20-year health outcomes and build a technology to measure IC at home.
Enabling consistent monitoring of health and promoting proactive health management.
2. Repurposing FDA-approved interventions for healthspan extension (TA2):
Strategically repurpose FDA-approved drugs with excellent long-term safety profiles in a decentralized clinical trial. Beyond accelerating the development of healthspan extension therapeutics, the data will establish a consensus around decentralized clinical trials for aged, non-diseased populations, improving participant retention and engagement.
3. Second generation interventions (TA3): Advance innovative interventions with strong preclinical evidence to enhance healthspan. Developing the next generation of healthspan therapeutics with high efficiency and pleiotropic effects to prevent health decline.
PROPOSERS’ DAY INFORMATION
Registration Information
In-person attendance is limited by the venue capacity and early registration is strongly recommended. In-person registration may close prior to the registration deadline due to the venue capacity being met. Should demand exceed venue capacity, organizations may be asked to limit the number of participants attending in-person. The determination of what constitutes an organization will be made by the ARPA-H Program
Manager. Registration for the virtual event is unlimited. Any changes to the registration deadline will be posted on the registration website. Participants must register in advance through the registration website for in-person or virtual attendance. The registration deadline for the PROSPR Program Proposers’ Day is January 21, 2025, at
Noon ET. There will be no same-day registration. In-person registration must be confirmed by ARPA-H. All attendees, regardless of participation status will receive an email with the webinar link prior to event kick-off. The event is closed to the general public and media.
Event Format
The ARPA-H PROSPR Proposers’ Day will be a hybrid one-day event . It will be hosted in-person in Dallas, Texas and virtually via Zoom. The PROSPR Proposers’ Day will include presentations by ARPA-H, including a technical overview of the PROSPR
Program. The Proposers’ Day will host a limited number of lightning talks. Please review the individual event element sections following the DRAFT agenda for more information.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Teaming Profiles
Interested parties are invited to submit a ‘teaming profile’ via the PROSPR website. The teaming profile will describe the technical competencies, team capabilities, team composition, research areas of interest, unique facilities, and other capabilities, as they relate to the program, and desired technical/other competencies sought from other potential team partners. The profile will include, at a minimum:
1. Contact information, to include name, organization, email, telephone number, mailing address, and website;
2. Brief description of the proposer’s technical competencies;
3. Desired technical competencies and facilities from other potential team members, if applicable.
Teaming profiles will be made available through a forthcoming Teaming Page on the
ARPA-H PROSPR website. Specific content, communications, networking, and team information are the sole responsibility of participants. ARPA-H does not endorse any participating organization or exercise any responsibility for improper dissemination of the team profiles.
