About this file
This is an approved construction document issued by the Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO), an agency of New York's Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), for a bathroom renovation project at the Vienna 545 Intermediate Residential Facility (IRA) located at 545 Vienna Street, Newark, NY 14513. The project involves comprehensive bathroom renovation work at this residential facility. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., and attendance is required for all bidders prior to bid submission. Bids will not be accepted from vendors who do not attend the site visit or who arrive late to the scheduled visit. Prospective bidders should request a formal invitation for bid by submitting company letterhead with current contact information (email and/or fax number) to Franchesca Sagen via fax at 585-461-8811 or to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov, referencing the project location and title.
This is a New York State public works project requiring all contractors and subcontractors to pay prevailing wages as determined by the NYS Department of Labor. Bidders must register with NYSDOL and provide their valid registration number and Certificate of Registration at the time of bid submission; failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification. NYSDOL estimates approximately 3-4 weeks to process registration applications, and bidders are strongly encouraged to register promptly to avoid delays. No advance notice to the agency is required for site visit attendance.
