About this file

This document is an amendment to a previous procurement notice (CPO Notice 2022.05) issued by the Central Management Services Bureau of Strategic Sourcing for the State of Illinois. The amendment reflects updates to Governor Pritzker's Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23, which supersede the previous Executive Order 2021-20 and extend the date that certain contractors must become vaccinated against COVID-19. The amended COVID-19 Protections clause requires vendors to adhere to the vaccination or testing requirements outlined in the Executive Orders, which may also be supplemented by additional agency-specific requirements.

The document provides links to the full text of Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23, and instructs all state agencies to include the amended COVID-19 Protections clause in all current and future solicitations, regardless of the procurement method used. This clause will become a standard term of the resulting contracts.
