About this file

This is Amendment 3 to a Request for Quote (RFQ 1367) issued by the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections for pest control services across multiple facilities. The amendment, dated July 28, 2026, modifies the original RFQ by replacing the main document with a revised version (REV 3) and making specific changes to scenarios for JCC-Lewiston and JCC-Saint Anthony locations. The RFQ closing date is August 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Mountain time. Site visits were conducted on July 16, 2026 and July 23, 2026 at the JCC-Saint Anthony location, with no attendees at the JCC-Lewiston site visit. Site visits are not mandatory for vendors to submit quotes. The pest control services address multiple pest concerns identified across campus facilities, including rodent (mouse) management, ant control, vole management, wasp and ladybug infestations, and bed bug treatment procedures. Vendors are expected to provide interior and exterior treatments, bait station placement and maintenance, and building-specific preventative measures.

The RFQ clarifications indicate that vendors should submit quotes through IPRO (powered by Luma) and provide detailed monthly service reports with technician identification. Service frequency discussions during site visits centered on monthly versus quarterly schedules, with Monday through Friday morning service preferred. No traps should be placed in sleeping areas. Vendors attending the site visits included representatives from Rentokil/Western, Yard Butler, and First Shot Pest Control. The amendment addresses vendor questions regarding submission procedures, site visit requirements, billing address information, and quote scope specifications, clarifying that headquarters location or bill-to addresses are acceptable on signature pages.

1 Would you be able to share why this project is being re-solicited and why the original solicitation was not awarded? We always appreciate any insight that helps us better understand the project and bidding process.

We found some disparity in the amounts of quotes from various vendors that raised some questions for us, and also found a need to change some requirements.

2 Since I went to the site visit before, is it required that I attend the site visit on the 17th of this month in order for us to be considered for the proposal award?

The site visits are not mandatory. You do not need to attend in order to submit a quote.

3 On the signature page the form asks for our address - is this our bill to address, or do you need the addresses for each branch servicing the 3 locations on the RFQ?

A headquarters location’s address is acceptable. A bill to is also acceptable.
