About this file

This is Amendment 1 to an Invitation for Bid issued by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Procurement Office for District 4 Bagged Concrete & Grout. The solicitation seeks a supplier to provide bagged concrete and grout products on a recurring basis, with orders containing a minimum of 6 pallets per shipment. SCDOT indicated it plans to order routinely from this contract but did not specify anticipated monthly volumes or delivery schedules. Questions from offerors were due by October 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM, and sealed bids must be submitted online at www.procurement.sc.gov by November 7, 2025 at 2:30 PM. The procurement officer is Ronnice Ferrell (803-385-4230; Ferrellrh@scdot.org). Award is scheduled for November 25, 2025, and offerors must hold their offers open for a minimum of 30 calendar days following the opening date. No pre-bid conference or site visit is specified in this amendment.

The amendment clarifies that offloading equipment at SCDOT offices will be provided by SCDOT and is not the responsibility of the vendor. Offerors must submit one copy of a signed offer form acknowledging receipt of this amendment and certifying the entity's legal status (sole proprietorship, partnership, corporate entity, government entity, or other form). All prospective bidders must monitor www.procurement.sc.gov for any additional amendments or modifications to the original solicitation. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding information is detailed in this amendment document.
