Amendment 0007 Page 2 of 2

Answers to the following questions are as follows:

1. We gave three different choices for the stucco work. We asked which of these would be approved yet no answer just repair stucco.

The stucco repair called for is the least invasive and least "expensive" method for repairing of stucco cracks. This would in most cases be a patching compound for cracks up to 1/16". Larger cracks, if present, may require some chasing or tuckpointing to ensure the repair lasts.

2. Trim repair is still an unknown nothing was addressed regarding how to quantify what is damage and what would qualify for repair verse replace Trim repair is repairing and preparing the surface for paint. This may include additional fastening, filling, patching, and other methods as needed. This is considered incidental to the exterior painting and is part of the preparation for paint. Trim removal has been identified on the buildings in the reconstruction logs and is complete replacement of identified trim material.

3. We see that the questions in regard to the fascia repair stated that this would be done during the roof work which is a separate SOW. Our SOW specifically directs us to repair or in some cases replace as needed or in %. The response seems to deem this work will be by others, the same with trim I assume. If the work is to be by others and it is done in a separate SOW, will this work be done prior to our work or after. If after does this mean that we will need to set a value for multiple moves?

Percentages have been eliminated. It has also been identified the buildings where the roof and fascia is to be replaced by a separate contract (no relation to this one). This was to identify the buildings the contractor would not need to do anything to the fascia in these instances and that coordination will be needed with the roofing and/or window contractor. Coordination with other contractors should be used to help prevent the need for multiple moves.

4. Window/Roofing: When will this work be preformed? If after our work we need additional mobilizations/demobilization, please clarify.

There are no dates established at this point. It should be assumed that most of this work will be occuring concurrently. Coordination will be needed by all parties of each contract in order for each to have success.

5. No answer in regards to the training area and garage. It states interior of barracks, is some of the living area (i.e. training and weight room) considered part of the barracks living area.

Waterman Barracks 1467 interior painting has been eliminated from the contract.

6. Also questions in regards to facilities at some of the more remote sites (i.e. Converse, Big Pine Flates ect.) was never answered, will we be required to have portable toilets, wash stations etc. Will we be given combos to gates (At BPF if 3N14 is taken directly to the station it takes aprox ½ hour off the drive. The route of SN14 to SN12 to SN16 was rough and I was barely able to travel this road with my truck which would make any type of trailer hauling liquids a mess. With this information still outstanding, the fact that this is a holiday weekend, the distance between and remote locations and the amount of re-visits we need to do it would be impossible for us to give you a fair and accurate bid. Last round it took two of us over a week to truly walk the sites and even then I had to return to sites due to incorrect building numbering(which did not see any corrections in the amendment, did I miss something?) Please contact me if you have any questions or need further clarification of our needs.

3N14 is open and should remain open to Big Pine Flats. The only incorrect building numbers I was aware of were addressed in the prebid notes and were located on the Big Bear Ranger Station Compound. The number located on the site plan handout for the Big Bear Hot Shot Office needs to be changed from #1005 to #1004. This is the building located between bldg. #2002 and #1612. The gas canopy # 2505 is not shown on the site plan. It is located between bldg. # 2304 and # 1005. If there are additional discrepancies, they have not been brought to our attention.
