Site Visit Questions and Answers
1. Are all the materials supplied?
a. Yes
2. What kind of installation method should be used on the poles? Pounded vs. Drilled?
a. This will be determined by the awardee. The method used will depend on the time of year, soil moisture, etc.
3. Will all the materials be in one location?
4. Who is responsible for moving the materials to the fence location?
a. The awardee
5. Will the fence location be marked/staked?
6. Is the awardee allowed to park campers onsite?
a. Yes, campers will be allowed to be parked onsite. There are no hookups. The Government will be exempt from any and all liability regarding campers parked on Government property.
b. Colorado State University (CSU) has a facility on ARS land close to the fence location. Rooms are available to be rented at this facility. Information can be found at the following link: http://sgrc.colostate.edu/facilities-rates/.
7. What happens if there is bad weather?
a. A Stop-Work Order can be issued if needed
8. Will Government personnel provide assistance with gate marking?
9. Who is responsible for doing locates?
