Questions:

1) When is solicitation due? (there is a conflict between information on FBO synopsis site and

SF-1449 posted with solicitation):

Quotations are due on April 5, 2011 at 4:30 p.m., at the Roanoke office address.

2) What size will the riprap have to be? The WVDOH spec doesn’t give a size.

The State specifies rip rap by classes which are represented by weight and not by size. In pricing you should price the rip rap at the most expensive class. We will stipulate the class of rip rap that will be needed when the task Order is prepared.

Points of clarification:

1) Prices are fixed-price with a fuel surcharge TBD for the option years if and when the option year is exercised.

2) Pricing is for delivery of stone for a District and not per road as in the past.

3) There will be a monthly submittal of invoices for processing and invoices will not be processed as each road was finished as in the past

4) The $2500 minimum order is per District and only for the Base Year.

5) Contractors shall have the capacity to deliver a minimum quantity of 300 tons per day to any designated site with a one week (7 days) notice.

6) If any Vendor does not wish to extend the prices, terms and conditions of its pricing to all areas of the North Zone, the Vendor must indicate so in a clear an unambiguous manner on its quotation.
