Road Structure Details above references Sheet 5, ROAD STRUCTURE & BRUSHING TYPICALS. Mileages and/or Stations as shown on Plans, or identified on Worklists are approximate. Turnout mileposts, when identified on Worklists, indicate mid-point of turnout. Unless otherwise noted on worklists, Turnout width and transition length listed on Road Structure Details above.
Item 30322 Reconditioning of Project roads includes reconditioning the full width of existing roadway including turnouts and tapers, viewpoints, turnarounds, shoulders, and existing ditches. Ditch reconditioning includes removal and haul of unsuitable material to Disposal sites. Transition distance between varying Traveled Way widths shall be MINIMUM of 25 feet.
Ditch dimensions (D & H) in table above apply to existing ditches on project roads. Not all roads are ditched and some roads have ditched segments on both sides of road.
Curve widening, where existing, or specified, shall be added to inside of curve. Curve widening shall be surfaced to the same depth as the traveled way.
Regarding Road Reconditioning: Template changes requiring reworking of existing sub grade will be identified in Road Structure Details and in Worklists
