About this file
This is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the City of Newport, Oregon for US 101 and 9th Street Couplet 30% Design Engineering Services. The addendum, prepared by Urban Renewal Project Manager Anna Iaukea and dated August 31, 2026, provides clarifications and responses to questions submitted by prospective bidders regarding the proposal submission requirements and project details outlined in the original RFP.
The addendum clarifies that proposals shall be limited to twenty single-sided pages, with front and back covers and cover letters excluded from the page count. No specific form or required format is mandated for reference project sheets; however, they must contain the information requested in Section 3.6 of the RFP. Proposals may be submitted via email to a.iaukea@newportoregon.gov. These clarifications ensure consistent proposal formatting and submission procedures for all interested engineering firms responding to the design services opportunity.
