About this file

This is Addendum One to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-21-27) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for pool renovations at Fort Boonesborough State Park in Richmond, Kentucky. The addendum makes several significant modifications to the original specifications and drawings dated April 9, 2026. Key changes include the removal of references to a new splash park installation from specification pages 24 and 106, as it is not included in the current scope of work. The addendum adds Specification 085169 for sliding transaction windows and revises architectural Sheet A7.1 regarding door schedules, elevations, and details. The official bid opening has been moved to July 30, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. Eastern Time. The document clarifies multiple contractor questions regarding fence specifications, stainless steel pool walls, door materials, and window types, establishing that both 2-inch and 2 1/8-inch mesh fencing are acceptable, coiling doors should be aluminum with powder coat rather than stainless steel, and W1 windows should be aluminum sliding windows with screens to match W2 specifications.

The addendum includes detailed specifications for the SS200 Series In-Line Side-Slider manual drive-thru windows manufactured by Easi-Serv Products, with features including extruded aluminum frames, PPG Duranar high-performance coatings, 1-inch insulated tempered glass glazing, and a five-year limited warranty on framing and mechanical components. Installation must comply with manufacturer instructions and be completed by qualified installers with at least five years of experience installing similar window types. The specification also requires manufacturer submittals, quality assurance documentation, proper storage and handling, mock-up approval, and environmental condition compliance during installation. All bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum and any subsequent addenda on their final bid documents.
