About this file

This Addendum NO. 2, issued by the Louisiana Office of State Procurement on behalf of the Louisiana Department of Corrections, revises the original Invitation to Bid (ITB) for waste disposal services at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center (RFx Number 3000026450). The bid opening is scheduled for August 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. The scope of work encompasses hauling and disposal services for one 30 cubic yard compactor serviced three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and two 25 cubic yard metal lid roll-off containers serviced twice weekly (Mondays and Thursdays). The contract term runs from award through June 30, 2027, with two optional 12-month renewal periods available at the same prices and terms, for a maximum total term of 36 months.

The addendum specifically revises Response #4 from Addendum NO. 01, clarifying that a spare 30 cubic yard compactor is available on site for equipment swaps. The revised response indicates that the contractor must handle each service as an equipment swap, bringing an empty replacement compactor when removing the full unit. Additionally, bidders are now required to provide a weekly rental rate for a 30 cubic yard compactor in the event the Agency requests a replacement unit due to contractor equipment unavailability. Vendors who have already submitted bids may acknowledge receipt of this addendum without revision or submit revised bids prior to the August 11, 2026, bid opening. Revisions must be delivered by mail, hand delivery, courier, or fax to the Office of State Procurement and must clearly identify the RFx number and bid opening date and time on the submission envelope.
