About this file

This is an Addendum No. 2 to Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2022-0013 issued by the City of Stockbridge, Georgia Purchasing Division for the 2023 LMIG Program project. The project involves the repair and resurfacing of approximately 4.6 miles of local roadways utilizing Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) funds. The ITB due date remains 3:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 23, 2022, with a question deadline of Friday, June 10, 2022 at 12:00 noon EDT. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on June 2, 2022 via Cisco WebEx. The public bid opening will be conducted on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 3:00 PM EST and will be live streamed on the City's website to allow vendors to view competing bids and submitted amounts. Anticipated notice to proceed is approximately 30 days after City Council approval of the award. Bidders are required to possess a current GDOT Prequalification Certificate.

The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original bidding documents, addressing questions regarding project work hours (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, with additional hours requiring written approval), milling surface protection (72-hour weather-dependent window), and contractor responsibilities including asphalt testing on an as-needed basis at contractor expense and mandatory progress documentation via video and photographs. Advanced warning signs may be deployed using portable tripod stands rather than permanent mounting. Sealed unit price bids will be submitted by prospective contractors for furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services. The City of Stockbridge affirms compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and nondiscrimination requirements in federally assisted programs. All addenda and contract award results are posted on the City's website and the Georgia Procurement Registry.
