The solicitation, RFx Number 3000026632, requests daily janitorial services to be performed five days per week (Monday through Friday) between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with restroom and trash services required twice daily. Services include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitization, window cleaning, floor buffing, baseboard cleaning, vent and blind cleaning, parking lot and exterior maintenance within 25 feet of the building, and semi-annual floor stripping and waxing cycles. An 11,576 square-foot facility requires monthly attention, with one dedicated day each month for cleaning a secured storage room measuring approximately 20 feet by 120 feet. The mandatory jobsite visit must be completed prior to bid submission, with site coordination handled directly with Lenea Bates at 504-483-1870 or Tamara Walker at 504-483-1871. Written vendor inquiries were due by September 1, 2026, with this addendum providing responses to ten vendor questions. Bids are scheduled to open on September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CT. The contract period begins upon award and extends through June 30, 2027, with two optional 12-month renewal periods available at identical terms, allowing for a maximum 36-month contract duration.
Bidders must submit firm unit pricing calculated on a 12-month basis, with prices remaining firm for 60 days and throughout the full contract period upon acceptance. The award method is on an individual basis, with the State reserving the right to reject individual line items despite stated intentions to award on an all-or-none basis. The incumbent contractor, Pure Elegance Cleaning Services LLC, currently holds the contract at a value of $33,600.00. The State furnishes all trash liners, hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels for the full contract term including renewals; the contractor is responsible for all equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies beyond those provided by the State. Contractors must maintain Workers Compensation insurance with $1,000,000 employers liability coverage, Commercial General Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, and Automobile Liability of $1,000,000 combined single limit, with all insurers rated A-:VI or higher by A.M. Best. Contractors must comply with E-Verify requirements, anti-kickback provisions, and clean air and water act standards, and must provide certification of non-suspension or debarment for bids exceeding $25,000. This addendum replaces Attachment A (Special Terms and Conditions) in its entirety and clarifies that services are not required on days when the OMV office is closed.
