The solicitation requires competitive pricing for road material delivery and spreading services at Big Bend Wildlife Management Area (North) in Taylor County, Florida. Three separate jobs on an as-needed basis during the 2026-27 fiscal year include delivery and dump spreading of approximately 9,000 tons of DOT-certified lime rock road base, conventional dump truck delivery to stockpile locations, and delivery of #4 crushed lime rock. Contractors must have a minimum of five trucks with 20-ton capacity each, provide three verifiable references, and may not subcontract. Compensation is on a per-ton basis with contractors responsible for all travel and delivery expenses. Pricing is submitted separately for each job, unit, and contract year (initial year plus three renewal years), with evaluation based on lowest total cumulative bid price. The initial contract term is one year effective upon issuance of the Purchase Order with completion required by June 10 of each year. The Commission may renew annually for up to three additional years, and liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day apply for failure to meet completion deadlines.
