About this file

This Addendum No. 1 document is issued by the Louisiana Office of State Procurement for RFx Number 3000026511, an Invitation to Bid for Avexon Brand Name Surveillance Equipment. The addendum addresses vendor inquiries received by the July 23, 2026 deadline and provides official state responses clarifying bidding requirements. The bid opening is scheduled for August 6, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. CT. Key clarifications include confirmation that authorized OEM surveillance products from manufacturers such as Axis Communications and Hanwha Vision may be offered under the Avexon contract using Avexon catalog SKUs, provided Avexon is an authorized reseller and support provider and identifies the original manufacturer on the price list. Bidders must select the applicable category in Exhibit 3 and submit documentation requirements outlined in Section 6 - Bidder Responsibilities. The addendum also confirms that catalog and price lists may be submitted electronically in PDF or Excel format, including Avexon catalog SKUs that cross-reference original manufacturer model numbers, and that items legally labeled as specified brands should identify the original manufacturer's name on submitted price lists.

The addendum establishes procedures for acknowledging receipt and submitting bid revisions prior to the August 6, 2026 opening. Bidders who have already submitted bids and do not require revisions must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by identifying their business name and signing the acknowledgement form, which may be returned by mail, hand delivery, courier, or fax to the Office of State Procurement. Bidders requiring revisions must submit changes prior to bid opening using the same delivery methods, clearly marking the RFx number and bid opening date and time on the envelope. Electronic submissions other than by fax are not accepted. The document emphasizes that failure to execute an acknowledgement does not relieve bidders from complying with their bid terms, and revisions received after bid opening will not be considered.
