About this file
This Addendum #1 modifies the Ice Arena New Scoreboards solicitation issued by the State University of New York at Plattsburgh under IFB 26MG0720-D000961. The addendum addresses nine clarifying questions submitted by potential bidders regarding the new scoreboard installation project. Key responses confirm that the new video board will be used for scoring, establish a 30 3/4" minimum doorway dimension on the upper level to accommodate a GS-1930 scissor lift (weighing 3,209 lbs), and specify a 100 Amp disconnect as the current power source for the video board. The addendum indicates that detailed information regarding low voltage cabling types, distances from displays to the control room, and connections from center ice to the control room and hockey goal light locations remains unknown at the time of issuance. Most significantly, the addendum updates the bid due date to Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. local time, extending the original deadline of August 20, 2026.
All other specifications, requirements, and terms outlined in the original Invitation for Bids remain unchanged. These include the mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for August 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House Lobby, the project completion deadline of February 1, 2027, required bid security of not less than 5% of the total bid amount, and the MWBE participation goals of 11.00% for MBE, 19.00% for WBE, and 6.00% for SDVOB. No incumbent contractor has been awarded an identical or substantially similar contract within the past five years.
