About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Bid No. BDC02-24/25 for the Sand Placement project at Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. The addendum notifies bidders that the requirement to wash the sand has been removed, and instead, the contractor must make 3,000 cubic yard stockpiles available at the mine for sampling and analysis by the engineer at least 14 days in advance. The engineer reserves the right to reject any stockpile based on the analysis results. As long as no rejection is received within 14 days, the contractor may proceed with loading and transporting the material to the project site for placement on the beach. All other contract documents remain in full force and effect.
The addendum also requires that the signed acknowledgment of receipt be included with the bid submission, and failure to do so may be grounds for bid rejection.
