CCW Ph. 3 Sec. 15 Public Package - Addendum 01 Summary
This addendum modifies the bidding documents for a landscape construction project for Fort Bend County MUD 214 (client CCR West, Inc.) and was issued by landscape architect SWA Group on August 31, 2026. The project scope includes concrete trails, drainage, grading, planting, irrigation, grassing, and site maintenance. A pre-bid conference was conducted via teleconference on August 31, 2026. Written questions must be submitted to Josh Lock at jlock@swagroup.com by noon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with a final addendum to be issued by end of business that day. Final bids are due by 10:30 AM on Friday, September 11, 2026, and will be submitted via civcastusa.com with bid opening conducted by teleconference (Zoom details provided) or in-person at SWA's office. The contract duration is 150 days from the date of commencement, with an anticipated start date in October 2026. The successful contractor must coordinate with the private package scope contractor and cannot commence work in the park reserve until the private scope work is completed; remobilization costs must be accommodated within the lump sum contract price.
Key project requirements include daily trash removal and site cleanliness, installation of irrigation systems as designed with grounding rods and as-built documentation, electrical service installation for irrigation controllers adjacent to an existing transformer, scarification of tree rootballs and tree pit glazing, protection of adjacent existing work with repair at no additional cost, and maintenance of all plant material in thriving condition throughout the warranty period. The project is non-taxable, and water meter service is provided by Si Environmental. If the seasonal grassing window is missed, the contractor must seed winter grass and complete transition to specified warm season grass at no additional cost to the contract. The scope has been revised to eliminate work to the east behind the lots and along the future Fulshear Bend Drive extension, with all hardscape in the park area to be completed as part of the private package scope.
