About this file
This document is a detailed specification for FME (Flight Maintenance Equipment) Coveralls, providing comprehensive manufacturing requirements for a military clothing procurement. The specification outlines precise technical details including a one-piece medium green coverall made from a 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend, weighing 5.5 to 8 ounces, with specific design features such as a full collar, single left chest pocket, Velcro fasteners, and an elastic foot stirrup. Size ranges from Medium to XXX-Large with precise dimensional tolerances, and the coveralls must be preshrunk with double-seamed construction and free of visible loose materials.
The specification is part of a 100% Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) solicitation by the Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Puget Sound for commercial coveralls to be delivered to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. The procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, with a firm fixed-price supply contract. Potential vendors must complete pricing, provide a cage code, submit representations and certifications, include manufacturer information, and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). The NAICS code is 315990, and the Product Service Code is 8415, with all solicitation questions to be submitted via email to naomi.larson@dla.mil.
