Description of Requirement
Soil Sample Drill Trailer
Background
The Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) of the US Army Engineer Research and
Development Center (ERDC) has been tasked to develop a procedure to develop methods to characterize physical properties of the pavements at abandoned airfield sites in the Pacific and determine the viability of reopening the sites to support current and future mission requirements.
To accomplish this, GSL has the need to procure a geotechnical exploration drilling equipment to aid in sample collection for physical property testing.
