About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the Henrico County Department of Public Utilities Water Treatment Facility HVAC Improvements project located in Richmond, Virginia. The project encompasses removal and disposal of multiple air conditioning units (ACU-6 through ACU-11), associated air-cooled condensers, an air-cooled chiller (CHIL-1), and a through-the-wall air conditioner (WAC-1) at two facilities: the main Water Treatment Facility at 10111 Three Chopt Road and the Raw Water Pump Station at 1201 South Gaskins Road. All refrigerant must be recovered and disposed of in compliance with applicable regulations prior to demolition. The project includes complete replacement of the DDC (Direct Digital Control) system serving the Water Treatment Facility, Washwater/Sludge Pump Station, and Raw Water Pump Station, along with associated control components. Additional work includes installation of floor drains in the lab space connected to a new neutralization basin in the interstitial space, installation of a new tepid water circulation line between water heaters and emergency plumbing fixtures, and supporting structural and architectural modifications.
The document does not specify pricing terms, set-aside provisions, response dates, due dates, site visit requirements, or bidder meeting information within the provided excerpt. No information regarding contract term, renewal options, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or budget amounts is included in the available portion of the file. Contractors should review the complete Construction Documents and specifications for detailed requirements, material standards, and technical specifications governing all demolition, installation, and control system work.
