GENERAL NOTES:
1. ALL PADS SHALL HAVE ADEQUATE STIFFNESS TO DISTRIBUTE OUTRIGGER LOADS UNIFORMLY
ACROSS THE ENTIRE PAD AREA
2. PADS SHALL SIT FLAT ON CONCRETE SURFACE, STACK DISTRIBUTION PADS OVER COMPLIANT
MATERIAL SUCH AS PLYWOOD OR HARD RUBBER PAD TO ACCOMODATE SURFACE UNEVENNESS
3. MAINTIAN A MINIMUM 5'-0" CLEAR AREA AROUND OUTRIGGER PADS, UON
4. NO RESTRICTION ON OUTRIGGER LOADS <30 KIP, MINIMUM 2'X2' CRANE FEET AND 8'-0" c.c. SPACING
(USE OF MINIMUM DISTRIBUTION PAD RECOMMENDED)
5. GRATING SURFACES HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED, AVOID OUTRIGGER LOADING
6. FOR STEEL PADS, CONSIDER PLACING PLYWOOD SHEET BETWEEN FLOAT AND PLATE TO REDUCE
POTENTIAL FOR SLIDING
7. FOR OPERATIONS EXCEEDING THESE GENERAL GUIDELINES, SUBMIT DESIRED OPERATION TO
