About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers file for a healthcare staffing opportunity at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility. The facility requires 2-3 Nurse Practitioners to provide flexible coverage in the Emergency Room's Fast Track and Same Day Clinic, with potential floating between departments based on facility needs and provider experience. The healthcare system sees approximately 1,000-1,200 patients monthly (12,000-14,400 annually) and offers services including optometry, dental, speech, physical therapy, a small inpatient unit, women's health, and pediatrics.
The staffing opportunity includes potential housing for providers, with availability determined at the time of contractor application. Support staff may include RNs, MAs, NAs, and MDs/DOs, pending staffing availability. Two specific clinics mentioned (Thoreau Health Clinic and Pueblo Pintado Clinic) have no specialty services available. The healthcare facility seeks mid-level providers who can demonstrate flexibility across ambulatory care and emergency room settings, with coverage requirements tailored to individual candidate experience and facility needs.

Questions & Answers:
1. Could you confirm the number of patients seen at each outpatient location, as well as the typical schedule at each facility?
While the exact annual patient volume is not available, we see approximately 1,000 to 1,200 patients per month, which projects to an estimated annual volume of 12,000 to 14,400.
2. Will providers be required to float between outpatient sites and the emergency room, or should we identify providers based on their interest in a specific department?
The need for providers to float between the emergency room and outpatient sites, such as the same-day and ambulatory clinics, is based on facility requirements and the individual provider's experience level.
3. We understand that housing is currently provided for ED providers — will the same housing be available for those working in the outpatient clinics?
Yes, some housing is available, please note that it is based on the availability at the time the contractor applies.
4. Can you confirm what support staff will be available in each department?
RNs, MAs, NAs, MDs/DOs pending staffing availability
5. Lastly, could you confirm the specialty services available at the following clinics?
o Thoreau Health Clinic o Pueblo Pintado Clinic
Based on your question regarding specialty services:
• Thoreau Health Clinic: No specialty services are available.
• Pueblo Pintado Clinic: No specialty services are available.
Within the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility, the following services are offered: optometry, dental, speech, physical therapy, a small inpatient unit, women's health, and pediatrics.
6. Will candidates only be providing coverage at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in the fast-track? Or are they also required to work in the separate outpatient clinics? If so, how often will they be expected to provide outpatient coverage?
The coverage required will depend on the specific needs of Crownpoint Healthcare Facility and the individual candidate's experience. While some mid-level providers may have experience solely in ambulatory care, we are looking for flexibility. Specifically, we are seeking 2-3 Nurse Practitioners to help cover gaps in the Emergency Room's Fast Track. These NPs would also need to be flexible enough to provide coverage for the Same Day Clinic as facility needs dictate.
