Supplies/Services CLINs 5001 - 5005

Under the Supplies and Services pricing schedule on page 8, please confirm that offerors are not requested to price CLINs 5001 through 5005?

Offerors are required to price CLINs 5001 through 5005. Note: In considering the price of the base period and any option periods, the Government will consider that if the extension of service clause (FAR 52.217-8) is exercised, it will be on the exact same rates and terms, other than length of performance, as the base or option period being extended. This sentence will be added to the solicitation. For evaluation purposes only please use the rates from option year 4 to price the extension per FAR 52.217-8. RFP updated

The instructions say: "In the event the Contractor’s personnel work during the holiday, they may be reimbursed by the Contractor. However, no form of holiday or other premium compensation will be reimbursed either as a direct or indirect cost, other than their normal compensation for the time worked." Please clarify tha the intent of this section is to indicate that if Contractor company personnel are required to work on holidays, the Contracting company will be able to invoice for the regular compensation to which it is entitled for the work of its employees, but will not be able to charge premium rates to the government? We assume the Government did not mean to control the amount of compensation a Contracting company chooses to pay its employees. Please confirm.

This is correct. You will only be able to bill the government for the hourly rate in the contract.

4 25 Final RFP

Section I.2.b N/A

This is an unrestricted full and open solicitation. Please confirm that FAR 52.219- 14 does not apply.
