Answers to Questions

08/24/2021

1. Is it possible to provide trailers from outside of US?

No. The Buy American Act is applicable. See FAR 52.225-1, Buy American-Supplies (JAN2021) (41 U.S.C. chapter 83) on page 10 of the RFP.

2. Current supply may not allow 60 days – would ½ delivery in October and ½ delivery in November be acceptable?

No. Travel trailers must be delivered within 60 days.

3. We have units in the order pool in the system at the factory and have “order number”, but VIN# are not available, can this requirement be waived as they are not available at time of bid submission?

No.

4. To fulfill the quantity is there a possibility to use “stick & tin” units to supplement overall trailer order?

No.

5. Are we able to submit bids for trailers that are 6 inches over 36ft?

No.

6. Are you accepting bids under 100 trailers?

Yes.
