About this file

This document contains a question template regarding a solicitation to recycle or dispose of approximately 41 million medical gowns currently in storage. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) seeks to recycle or dispose of gowns acquired to support medical professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic but are no longer needed as case numbers have declined. Offerors must provide pricing to pick up a minimum of 10 truckloads of gowns per day from each of two locations - one in Springfield, Virginia and one in Manteca, California. The gowns are stored in boxes on pallets and weigh varying amounts. Offerors must submit past performance questionnaires and provide disposal or recycling reports. The requirement is set aside for small businesses.
