About this file

This document includes a set of questions and answers regarding the solicitation for the CA YOSE 1022(1) Yosemite Valley Day Use Parking Phase II federal contract opportunity. The opportunity involves the construction of a 250-space parking lot adjacent to the existing Yosemite Village Store parking lot and drainage improvements and paving of the unpaved portions of the 350-space Valley Day-Use South parking lot within Yosemite National Park, California. The project aims to increase the day-use parking capacity at the primary arrival point for visitors without campsite or hotel reservations and improve pedestrian circulation and access from the parking lots to the visitor center in Yosemite Village. Contractors must obtain a temporary pass from park rangers at the entrance station to visit the project site. The Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration is the contracting agency.
