Check General or Technical

8 X

1. Testing – What kind of testing is Fed Hwy looking for and in what areas? Are you looking for maximum theoretical density of the embanked material or are you looking for moisture testing? Some insight to the testing would be really helpful.

See FP‐14 section 204 Excavation and Embankment, Sub‐section 204.11 Compaction. AND Special Contract Requirements (SCR’s) Sub‐Section 204.10A(b)(1), (2) and (3). Bid accordingly

15‐Mar‐21

9 X

Aquatic Life Savage and Rescue – There is noting on the Bid Schedule that calls out for hours for Aquatic Life Savage. Is this something that ODFW will be taking care of or is this on the Contractor?

Contractors Responsibility. Bid Accordingly 15‐Mar‐21

10a X

18.8 Acres of Turf Establishment and Bare Areas –

a. With the lake dropping 2‐4’ during the summer is there a reason we are seeding water areas and the swells? Also the spec calls for not leaving any bare areas.

Please see Special Contract Requirements (SCR’s) Sub‐Section 625.03.

NPDES permit requires covering bare areas. Government provided seed is a native mix suited for wetlands. Bid Accordingly.

10b X

18.8 Acres of Turf Establishment and Bare Areas –

Continued:

b. Wouldn’t it be realistic to seed the whole project at the end of the project as the summer months would require a temporary sprinkler system and the temperatures would not allow the seed to germinate?

Please see Special Contract Requirements (SCR’s) Sub‐Section 625.03. Bid Accordingly
