About this file
The document is a Byrd Anti-Lobbying Certification form with the tracking number 269.2026.135. This standard federal certification requires companies to disclose and certify that they have not and will not use federal appropriated funds to influence or attempt to influence government officials in connection with federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements.
The certification requires companies to affirm three key points: 1) no federal funds have been or will be paid to influence government officials, 2) if non-federal funds are used for lobbying contacts, the company must complete a Standard Form-LLL disclosure, and 3) the certification language must be included in all subawards and subcontracts. Failure to file the required certification can result in civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The document provides spaces for a company representative to sign, print their name, provide company details, and date the certification.
