Bids may be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com or in sealed envelopes. The initial contract term is one year with renewal options for two additional one-year periods, potentially creating a three-year contract. Proposal prices must remain firm from July 1st, 2026 through June 30th, 2027 and cannot be withdrawn during that period.

Services include trash removal, grass mowing, trimming and edging, concrete area sweeping, herbicide application, tree and shrub pruning, and brush cutting performed on varying schedules throughout the year. The District will supply fertilizer, mulch, and herbicides, while the contractor must provide all equipment and labor. Work is scheduled bi-weekly in March, June, July, and October; weekly in April, May, August, and September; and as-needed from November through February. Evaluation will consider price, quality of services, extent to which services meet district needs, prior vendor experience, and preference for Mississippi-based vendors. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, award to other than the lowest bidder, terminate for default or convenience, and adjust payments if services are not provided according to the prescribed schedule.
