About this file

This document contains responses from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to questions regarding solicitation 50310223Q0113 for a digital assets data subscription. The SEC is seeking monthly delivery of investment vehicle and initial coin offering (ICO) data in comma separated value (.csv) or Excel file format. Sample sizes have been amended from the solicitation, now requiring 20 examples each of investment vehicles and ICOs in responses rather than the original 100. Proprietary sample output from the incumbent vendor cannot be provided. Acceptable data points and categories are outlined in the requirements list attachment to the solicitation.

The SEC response provides clarification on data delivery formats, preferences for monthly delivery, and amended sample size requirements for responses. No other terms or conditions are addressed regarding the digital assets data subscription solicitation.

Solicitation: 50310223Q0113 Digital Assets subscription

SEC Response to Questions

1. Will the Government please provide an example output of data pushed to the SEC by the current vendor aligned with the investment vehicle and ICO data points listed in Attachment 1 - SEC Requirements List? Additionally, can the Government please provide examples of sample digital asset market analysis, news, and research requested in the subscription?

The SEC is not able to provide sample data output or examples because this info is proprietary for each company.

2. Will the Government provide examples of sample data related to digital asset infrastructure, such as trading, lending, and payment systems?

Same response as question 1.

3. We intend to give examples of 10 Investment Vehicles and ICOs in our application email. As attaching 100 to the email would be too large of an attachment. Would this (10) be sufficient as a sample size?

The SEC has given further consideration to the sample size requirement and has a made determination to reduce the number of examples for 100 to 20 for each Investment Vehicles and ICOs. The solicitation is amended to reduce the number of examples required. 10 examples of Investment Vehicles and ICOs is not sufficient and will not meet the SEC’s requirements for this solicitation.

4. Would you want the data to be delivered in a particular file format and would you prefer this be a daily ongoing basis, weekly or monthly?

Acceptable formats include .csv and excel and monthly delivery is preferred. The Requirements List is updated to clarify these items.
