About this file

This document is a solicitation letter from the U.S. Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons for Kosher food items for the Federal Detention Center (FDC) Philadelphia. The solicitation (Number 15B21725Q00000007) seeks vendors to provide Kosher products for the inmate population, with the government planning to award items by line item to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror. Vendors must be registered in the SAM System, willing to accept Electronic Funds Transfer, and submit quotes in Excel format by May 27, 2025, at 8:00 am Eastern Time.

Key submission requirements include completing the Standard Form 1449 (specific blocks), the Contractor Information Sheet, and emailing all documents to bvirgillo@bop.gov with the solicitation number as the subject line. The anticipated award date is June 6, 2025, with full delivery required by September 19, 2025. Deliveries will be made to FDC Philadelphia at 700 Arch Street, and vendors are advised that past performance will be considered approximately equal to price, with poor past performance potentially disqualifying a vendor.
