About this file
This is Addendum Number 1 to an RFP issued by a Michigan school district for AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) Maintenance, Repair and Supplies under solicitation number HV-465-04062026. The project encompasses the provision of all services listed in the Scope of Work, including AED sales, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and related supplies. The bid date remains unchanged at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026. The addendum was issued on September 15, 2026.
The addendum addresses two bidder inquiries regarding proposal submission requirements and vendor eligibility. Vendors must bid on all required services and cannot submit partial bids for individual items such as the Philips FRx AED alone. Additionally, to be considered for award, vendors must meet or exceed the Minimum Mandatory Requirements outlined in the original solicitation, which includes specific experience and qualification standards. Prospective bidders with limited experience relative to the stated requirements are not eligible for consideration unless they fully satisfy all mandatory qualifications, including the three-year experience requirement for AED maintenance clients referenced in the original RFQ.

Addendum Number 1 Project: AED Maintenance, Repair and Supplies RFP # HV-465-04062026
Bid date: 12:00 PM, Friday, September 25, 2026 (UNCHANGED)
Issue date: September 15, 2026
Below are: Questions asked by bidders with the school district’s answers below:
1. In reference to Solicitation Number HV-465-04062026:
As the Vendor can we just partially BID and send a Quote for the prices of the Philips FRx AED only or do we have to bid on everything.
The awarded vendor(s) will be required to provide all needed services listed in the Scope of work.
2. Our company has been in business for approximately six years and is well qualified and capable of providing AED sales, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and related supplies.
We are expanding our AED sales and maintenance services and currently have one active AED maintenance client; however, we do not have three clients that meet the three-year experience requirement outlined in the RFQu. Would we still be eligible to submit a proposal and be considered for an award based on our overall qualifications and capabilities? To be considered for award, vendor’s experience and qualifications must meet or exceed the Minimum Mandatory Requirements as listed in the solicitation.
