About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a procurement for CD burners for the Phoenix VA Health Care System. The project involves replacing three existing CD burners and purchasing three additional units, totaling six devices for use at three different VA locations in Phoenix, Arizona (32nd Street VA Clinic, Missouri Avenue ROI, and Veteran Resource Center).
The required equipment must meet specific technical specifications, including Windows 11 operating system, Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB solid-state drive, and a 19-24" monitor. The CD burners must be capable of importing medical images from VISTA Imaging and AGFA PACS via DICOM, compressing images on CD/DVD, burning multiple disks simultaneously, and printing disk labels. The contractor's responsibilities include equipment delivery, configuration, end-user training, and providing a one-year warranty. The justification for the procurement is to upgrade aging equipment at a lower cost than full replacement, with the goal of improving image import speed and resolution while maintaining veteran care capabilities.
