Herbicide and Weed Control Attachment 1 Amendment 00001 RFI Questions and Answers
1. What is the expected frequency of the service to be provided?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The expected frequency of the service to be provided is quarterly.
2. Who is the current service provider for this task?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: There is no current service provider for this task or statement of work.
3. What is the current service charge (i.e., weekly, monthly, quarterly)?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: There is no current service charge.
4. How many laborers are currently being used to perform this service?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: There are no laborers currently being used to perform this service.
5. Will the contractor need to possess a QAL B license through the Department of Pesticide Regulation?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Yes, the contractor will need to possess a QAL B license through the Department of Pesticide Regulation.
6. Will the QAL B license suffice, as it mandatory by the State of California, in lieu an OSHA card?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Yes, the QALB license will suffice in lieu of an OSHA card.
7. Can we come out and inspect the area based on the map you included in the bid?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The site visit was conducted previously on 5/22/18. An additional site will not be conducted by the Government. The drawing attached to the solicitation shows required services areas. A prospective vendor is free to utilize the attached drawing and/or conduct their own visit to these areas, however VA Employees will not be participating in an additional site visit.
