About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 seeking potential sources for inspecting and cleaning elevated water tanks at the Central Arkansas VA Medical Center. The RFI covers three specific line items: a dry inspection of a 250,000-gallon welded tank with 115 ft diameter, cleanout of the same tank, and a dry inspection of a separate 150,000-gallon riveted tank with 120 ft diameter. The anticipated NAICS code 237110 has a small business size standard of $45 million, and small business concerns are encouraged to respond to help the VA determine market competition and pricing.

The RFI responses are due by 12:00 PM CST on 6/23/2025, to be submitted via email to Bennett Smith (bennett.smith2@va.gov). This is a sources sought notice only, not a formal solicitation, and the information provided will be used solely for market research purposes. Interested vendors are asked to complete a form indicating their company details, business size, and availability under existing government contracts. The VA may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) based on the responses received, with the goal of defining the procurement strategy for the upcoming solicitation.
