Questions

1. Can you specify the mowing/weed trimming perimeters?

Answer: There is a total of Four (4) areas to be mowed on this project. Lot “A”, Lot “B”, Lot “C: and LOT “D”. A Site Visit is scheduled to access the area. See below.

2. The contract is asking for herbicide spraying under solar panel in sections A, B, and C. what about solar panel section D? Will that section be excluded from the herbicide applications?

Answer: No all shall be sprayed

3. Contractor will be responsible to remove all branches or limbs (up to 2 inches in diameter) from the areas prior to mowing. The branches and limbs shall be removed off site" Can you specify the areas that are to be trimmed before mowing?

Answer: All areas are fenced in and marked as solar fields (A) (B) (C) (D)

4. Have these areas been contracted out before? Or is this maintained by the VA directly?

Answer: Yes, these areas were contracted out.

5. What is the previous contract award number?

Answer: 36C25620C0117

6. What was the value of last contract?

Answer: $59,729.65

7. Are all the required reports/forms mentioned in SOW Section 2.0 required with quote or is it acceptable to provide after award? Please specify which one is required prior to award.

Answer: All contractors that are planning to provide quote for this project are encouraged to attend this walk thru. Contractors to meet in Building 5, first floor Engineering Department in Room 110.
