Questions and Answers
1. How far from the current system will the temporary bypass tank be installed?
Answer: There is space for the temporary to be in the plant within 5-10ft of the current DA tank.
The connections for water and steam are within about 15-20 ft of that location as they are on the back side of the current DA Tank.
2. What types of pipe connections/size are currently on the preexisting deaerator tank on the inflow and outflow side? for example victaulic, bauer, flanged, or camlock connections.
Answer: All connections are 8 hole flanged. 3in pipe for the water and 2 in for the steam. This answers questions 2 and 3.
3. What are the current sizes/diameter of pipes currently connected to the deaerator tank? for example 2" or 3" pipes
Answer: SEE ABOVE
4. What type of fitting/pipe connection will we have access to for the bypass for the inflow and outflow (if they are different from above)?
Answer: No special fittings other than listed above should be needed. However, for the LP side, the secondary flange is 4”
