About this file

This document contains an amendment to a solicitation for replacing the nurse call system at the Lyons VA Medical Center. The solicitation seeks to replace aging nurse call equipment across multiple building areas in a phased approach to ensure continuous nurse call coverage. Bids are due by May 21, 2021 with questions answered to aid offeror responses. The amendment provides responses to previously submitted requests for information and confirms all other solicitation terms. The work involves removing an existing temporary wireless system and reinstalling it for use during phased replacement. The contractor must integrate the new nurse call system with the facility's Vocera communication devices and existing West-Com nurse call equipment in designated areas.
