Facility Commander Wnx/Secure Perfect Migration Worksheet

Rev M (long form)

To be completed by VAR for FCWnx and Secure Perfect customers with integrated video or ACU controllers.

This version of the worksheet has instructions for running a custom, detailed FCWnx device report for Micro and ACU counts. The custom report and a Readme file can be found in the zip file with this worksheet.

PREFACE

The purpose of this worksheet is to capture FCWnx system information from each customer to assist in migration planning to OnGuard.

This worksheet has 2 sections:

· Software and License Info

· Controller Hardware Lenel will provide the VAR with a quotation for software, controller hardware board replacements, and data migration services.

Customers must be running FCWnx 7.7 in order to use the standard one-time cardholder migration tool to convert cardholder data from FCWnx to OnGuard; however, Lenel can migrate data from older versions of FCWnx and Secure Perfect.

Customers with an active SSA will receive OnGuard software with equal license capacities free of charge. This does NOT include 3rd party software, such as Windows 2012 Server, SQL Server, Crystal Reports Server if customer writing their own reports, and NEC Express WAN software for server redundancy.

SPECIAL NOTE for FCWNX GLOBAL EDITION customers:

· FCWnx Global to OnGuard Enterprise migrations require special services.

· VARs must be certified in OnGuard Enterprise.

· VARs must contact Lenel PES at pes@lenel.com to request a quote for:

1. Enterprise Planning Session

2. Enterprise Data Migration and Installation services

Please TYPE your answers in this form and email the completed worksheet to:

Migration@lenel.com

AUDIT CHECKLIST FOR FCWNX CUSTOM INTEGRATIONS (if applicable) If the customer has any custom code or scripts, which are not a part of the standard FCWNX product, please list them in the SOFTWARE INTERFACES section below. It is the responsibility of the customer or VAR to maintain a database backup of all necessary programs, scripts, and files that are part of the custom code. In addition, the code will need to be modified for compatibility with OnGuard, and it is the responsibility of the customer or VAR to ensure that all modifications are made prior to the migration.

HARDWARE SECTION

Hardware options and information

When FCWnx and Secure Perfect products are migrated to OnGuard, the following controllers are supported:

· Lenel M Series (Mercury Boards in a CASI Micro form factor) for M5, M3000, and M2000 micro enclosures. There is no M Series board replacement for the DirecDoor. See table below.

· FCWnx systems running ACU controllers will be able to migrate using OnGuard 7.3 or higher. ACU RS and ACU XL controller boards will be replaced with the Lenel ACU Series boards – 2 form factors: ACU RS and ACU XL. Customers will KEEP their existing RRE1/2/4, RIM, RRM, and IKEs in place.

· Standard Mercury LNL (LNL-3300, LNL-2220, LNL-1300, etc.)

Important rules for changing CASI boards to Lenel M Series:

· If upgrading to Lenel M Series, all boards in the micro must be replaced.

· Downstream M5/M3000 with M Series is supported for a total of 4 micros per line (head-end and 3 downstream) for a total of 32 addressable boards. CPU boards are not needed in the downstream micros, but an MCOM board is needed. Downstream connectivity is RS485.

· Downstream M2000s are also supported from a head-end M2000. The head-end will need the LNL-3300-M5 and the LNL-1340-M2K. The downstreams need the LNL-1340-M2K only.

· Supervised F/2F protocol is supported with M Series boards, which means all current readers, reader interfaces (MRJ, WIU), and wiring can stay in place.

There is no Lenel M Series replacement for the DirecDoor.

Run “FCWnx Hardware Counts” custom report – requires FCWnx 7.6 or 7.7

If you do not have an exact count of micro/board counts, run the “FCWnx Hardware Counts” custom report provided by Lenel. Read the Read Me.txt file for instructions on installing the custom external report. Save the report to Excel and use the counts to fill in the hardware section below. Attach the Excel file when you return the worksheet to the Migration team for reference.

Note: It is the End User and VAR’s responsibility to perform a site survey and confirm that the hardware installed matches what is configured in the software. You may have boards that are configured in the software that were never physically added to the micro.
