Pendant to Unistrut (Vendor furnished and Installed)

Future Vendor to Furnish and Install

SWAY BRACES

Option 1: The Sway Bracing material (Uni-Strut) that is currently shown to be installed can be turned over to the VA for future installation by the successful patient lift provider/vendor.

The VA will need to store the material until the patient lift provider has been selected and has installed the lift pendant to the uni-strut.

Once the lift pendant is installed the patient lift provider would need to install the sway bracing. Please note, the uni-strut amounts to approximately 100 pieces which are 20’ in length.

These pieces would need to be stored by the VA until the patient lift provider was ready to install.

Option 2: The VA can procure the furnish and install of the sway bracing during the patient lift procurement process. Utilizing this option would eliminate the handling, storage and transfer of the 100 pieces of 20’ long uni-strut.
