SECTION C – PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The elevator tower at Guenther Hall has experienced water intrusion as well as displacement/cracking of the glazed masonry façade. o Integrate existing roof flashing systems from adjacent roof areas into the new rainscreen system.

2. Smoke Evacuation System Review o Evaluate the inoperable smoke evacuation system at the top of the elevator shaft.

o If necessary, include repair or replacement of the system in the construction drawings.

3. Bid and Construction Administration Services o Assist the College with bid services, review of contractor submissions, and provide full construction administration for the project.

2. Payment of Services o Agreement between the Owner and the Architect will be a lump-sum contract.

o Payment will be made monthly based on an agreed-upon percentage for each project phase.

3. Form of Contract o The form of contract shall be an AIA Document between HVCC and the selected Architect.
